Dr Rekha is a practicing Obstetrics and Gynaecologist for last 20 years in Thane and around suburbs. She has done her medical education from reputed colleges from Mumbai, she has done her MBBS degree from LTMMC Sion and Post-graduation from BYL Nair Hospital Mumbai-Central. Her speciality is active management of High-risk Pregnancy, during her career she has helped many women addressing their Peri-menopausal and Post-menopausal problems.

Dr Rekha is also a Gayneac Endoscopy Surgeon and specialised in Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy. She has done numerous Advanced Laparoscopy surgeries such as laparoscopy for cancer uterus, ovaries and cervix. Also performed various diagnostic procedures for early detection of cancers in uterus and treatment without removing uterus such as Cryo and LEEP. She has conducted more than 2000 laparoscopy surgeries like Lap hysterectomy, Lap myomectomy, Endoscopy in infertility and "Endoscopy in endometriosis. She is a honorary Laparoscopy Surgeon at Family Planing" Association of India providing her services since 2010.

Dr Rekha also takes time for social cause, she regularly conducts programs for 8th to 10th standard school girls and 11th and 12th college girls on menstrual hygiene and self defence. She is also active member and Treasurer (2019-20) of Thane Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society (TOGS).
